It's More Than Just a Box Of DVDs and a Bag of Powder

I’ve been seeing success stories of people who lose weight with a program using a certain brand of shake and following a set meal plan. Their pictures make us stop and look at the picture and think to ourselves, “wow, that is quite the accomplishment, good for them!” And then we move on, secretly wishing we could achieve those results, coming up with excuses as to why we can’t, end of story.
But when you actually hear those stories told from the actual person who achieved that success, you see the tears well up in their eyes when they go back to that time in their life when it was such a struggle, and you see the joy they have now after going through all of that, it suddenly becomes so REAL! It truly is the best feeling in the world when you know you’ve somehow had a small hand in their transformation.
For me, that is exactly how I feel as a coach! Since being a challenger myself, and experiencing my own transformation with Insanity Max 30 and 21 Day Fix/Extreme, and Shakeology, I have a deep sense of appreciation for what coaches do. I totally get that there are days you don’t want to workout, you don’t want to make healthy food choices, and you maybe you don’t feel like drinking your Shakeology, but then you remember that you are accountable to your coach and the other people in your challenge group, so you do it anyways!! Let’s face it, you don’t want to report in on the days you messed up, cheated, didn’t follow the plan, or you quit! It’s that whole new level of accountability!

When I’m chatting with a potential challenger and they give me the line, “It’s too expensive!” I kinda chuckle to myself. First, because I know I felt the exact same way. I remember feeling like the investment wasn’t worth it! That box of DVD’s and bag of powder were NOT going to transform my body and I thought I could do it on my own without investing any money! But you know what, after trying for so long on my own, I was desperate for some results, and I couldn’t stand the way I looked anymore, so I was willing to give it a shot!
I committed to Insanity Max 30, changing my eating habits, and checking into the challenge group every day. I didn’t see IMMEDIATE results, but what I did find was the support and accountability to keep going, I learned how to handle my emotional eating and cravings, how to practice the 80-20 rule. I was surrounded by others in the same boat as me. Not only did they lift me up when I was down, but they became my biggest supporters and some of them even became my dear friends!
A challenge pack is much more than a fitness program, Shakeology, free shipping, and a discounted price. It’s about having someone on the other end encouraging you to push play every day and get the most out of that program. It’s having someone to lift you up when you have a bad day, someone to carry you when you think you can’t get up. That to me is PRICELESS!!!
If it wasn’t for my coach, I wouldn’t have finished any of the programs I have, I would not have lost any of the weight and I still have 10 more lbs to go and I know I will get there with my group. So when you are weighing the options, this about this!!
When you go to the gym, who is making sure you show up every day?
Who is checking your nutrition to make sure you’re eating properly for the workouts you’re doing?
Do you know if the workouts you are doing are going to produce the results you want?
Who is going to hold you accountable to your start and end goals?
Answer those questions and go with your gut and what you truly feel is going to give you the VERY best results and the most BANG for your buck!!
